Radiesse®

Radiesse® is a recent addition to the arsenal of dermal fillers. Known for stimulating the production of collagen, its calcium infused, gel base gives patients immediate yet long-lasting results. As the gel slowly dissipates the calcium particles bind to form a long-lasting support for new tissue.

​Most all discomfort is alleviated with topical anesthesia and Lidocaine is contained in Radiesse® itself. No downtime is associated with Radiesse®. Some patients report slight swelling or minor bruising that can be easily concealed with make-up.

​Like other popular fillers, the results are instantly noticeable especially when it is used to treat wrinkles and folds around the nose and mouth, including deep nasolabial folds. It is also widely used to shape facial features and is quite effective for sunken areas below the eyes and cheeks. In addition, Radiesse® can be used to reduce the appearance in the top of the hands, in what we call our “beautiful hands treatment”.

​Radiesse® is frequently used in the LiquidLift procedure when it is combined with BOTOX® or Dysport® for even better results in correcting moderate and fine lines.
